Jambojet entices customers with low-cost air tickets

Regional low-cost airline Jambojet has announced a 72-hour sale that will see the carrier offer 10,000 seats at the cost of Ksh 2,100.

The three-day sale, which is part of Jambojet’s #NowTravelReady campaign, will run from the fifth to 7th January 2021.

During a presser, the airline announced that the ticket would remain valid for travel within Kenya from 11th January to 20th March this year.

Titus Oboogi, Jambojet’s Head of Sales and Marketing, said they provided their customers with enticing incentives throughout 2020, which allowed them to travel in comfort.

“As we usher in the New Year, we stay committed to providing our customers with a reliable, safe, and affordable experience,” said Oboogi.

Oboogi also noted that the offer applies to Jambojet’s regional destinations, including Ukunda (Diani), Malindi, Kisumu, Eldoret, and Mombasa, and Nairobi, its focal point.

Recently, the airline launched direct flights from Mombasa to Kisumu and Eldoret. In line with its strategic expansion plans, Jambojet also introduced charter services.

During the launch, Oboogi reiterated its resolve to provide its customers with top-notch services. He also said the airline would operate in the new routes every Sunday and Friday.

The Mombasa, Eldoret, and Kisumu flights would leave Mombasa at 1:15 pm and arrive in Kisumu at 3:55 pm, and Eldoret at 3:05 pm.

It would leave Eldoret at 3:25 pm, Kisumu at 4:15 pm, and arrive in Mombasa at 6:05 pm.

Jambojet, an IOSA certified (IATA Operational Safety Audit registration), has ferried over 3.5 million people, out of which 30 per cent used an airplane for the first time.
