NCBA bank has trended on various social media platforms following their poor services. Disgruntled clients have continuously complained since they can’t access any services.
Some have decried the lack of NCBA’s customer service while others have reported the inability to access the bank’s online portal.
Following the lack of help from the financial institution, some customers have resorted to contact the bank with unfriendly tweets.
NCBA has seemingly contacted its customers regarding system integration, which has led to the sporadic services in some of their channels. The bank however assured its clientele that the systems would be up by Monday, September 21, only for the problems to persist until today.
Following the relentless complaints from most of their customers, they issued another statement online.
We have given you chance after chance after chance….. the only thing we have received this week is silence in the face of every single frustration experienced…. How are your customer service lines "temporarily unavailable" during a time like this?? and silence on the TL!!

The bank’s group managing director John Gachora also stepped in to try and put the situation under control. However, the rants on social media only mean that the bank is yet to rectify the problem.
Hey @NCBABankKenya based on the notification I got, the scheduled maintenance was supposed to go up to Monday 21st. It's now Thursday 24th. We understand the need to improve on customer experience, but kindly consider the time. For some of us business is at a standstill.😢

The Craving Yellow brand owner Tabitha Tongoi this year in July claimed that a sum amounting to Ksh 300,000 went missing from her NCBA account.
Tabitha turned to social media for help. When efforts to get help from the bank proved futile, she asked her fans to help her get the attention of NCBA.
“Seven weeks ago, over KSh 300,000 was stolen from my NCBA Bank Kenya account. I’ve chased the problem without any breakthrough. Please retweet this to help me get their attention,” tweeted Tongoi.
Following the social media backlash, the MD John Gachora reached out and apologised for the inconvenience caused.
7 weeks ago, over Ksh. 300,000 was stolen from my @NCBABankKenya account. I’ve been chasing this up to no avail. Please help me retweet this to get their attention. More info on my IGTV. Will be sharing more on IG stories too.
