NAIROBI, Kenya, Jul 11 – Police are holding a licenced firearm holder who shot dead his relative Tuesday night during an argument over land in Mwiki area, Nairobi.

According to Nairobi Police Chief Joseph ole Tito, “the man and his cousin had argued over the land before a confrontation ensured where he shot and killed him.”

He stated that he was later arrested over the issue and is expected in court Wednesday.

He observed that a number of licensed gun holders are misusing the weapons and want an audit conducted on them.
