Controversial female Akothee has officially distanced herself from handling any issue regarding a one-time crippled street boy Shadrack Mwita who she helped rise from poverty and even made sure he could walk again.
Akothee went to Instagram to express her deep disappointment with the young man who she helped out of sheer will, only for him to remain utterly ungrateful and even shade Akothee’s name in the process.
According to Akothee, her elder brother tried warning her before she took in Shadrack Mwita out of the streets in May this year. However, due to her stubbornness and desire to shower the street boy with mother’s love, she refused, forcing her brother to leave her alone to raise Shadrack.
The young boy further surprised Akothee, after claiming he wanted her to build his grandmother a house yet he had claimed to be an orphan at first to attract the singer’s sympathy.
He started acting this way after Akothee had already financed his prosthetic leg, which helped him get out of the wheelchair for the first time in his life.
After the shocking revelation of Mwita’s family, Akothee decided to rent him a house that could double as a shop and ensured the young man received food supplies and pocket money.
Despite Akothee’s tremendous help, Shadrack would always leave his house in a mess that the landlord would complain and he would spend his entire day sitting and watching passers by on the streets.
For a few weeks now, Shadrack Mwita abandoned the house paid for him by Akothee then proceeded to move in with another family.
The alleged family contacted Akothee, blaming her for abandoning Shadrack, who they insisted had broken his leg.
However, they declined Akothee’s help to fix Shadrack’s legs with the excuse that they did not have time. The young man has since been placed at the children’s office.
“I HAVE NEVER GIVEN BIRTH TO A CHIID WITH THE NAME SHADRACK MWITA.I HAVE MY TWO BOYS IN FRANCE AND MY 3 GIRLS. THEY ARE WELL BEHAVED AND TAKING CARE OF THEMSELVES. DONT EVER CALL ME REGARDING ANY SHADRACK MWITA I DONT KNOW HIM NOR HIS FAMILY. LET HIM GO BACK TO THE STREETS WHERE I FOUND HIM. UNFORTUNATELY TUSKYS WHERE I FOUND HIM IS CLOSED, LET HIM GO TO NAIVAS THERE ARE BIG CARS PASSING THERE
I AM DONE,” wrote Akothee.
