Controversial politician Babu Owino is known not to shy away from speaking his mind especially in matters regarding Kenyan politics.
The young Embakasi East Mp recently bumped onto a poster of musician Otille Brown contesting for a member of parliament position in his own constituency and did not fail to give his thoughts concerning the matter.
Otille Brown is currently busy working on his label and has not yet declared any interest in joining Kenyan politics.
However, the poster indicated that he would be running for a position in the national assembly come the general elections which will be held 2022.
Babu Owino was obviously not a fan of Otille vying for the same seat that he currently holds and even went ahead to brand the singer a joker for pushing for such a bold move.
Babu advised the watoto na pombe singer to stick to what he does best; singing, and leave politics to the politicians.
Through a post on his social media account, the controversial member of parliament further pointed out to Otille Brown, that politics might cost him his charming voice, which according to Babu, ladies love and need very much.
He further referred to Otille Brown as a slay queen, saying that that slay queens cannot survive in the tough world of politics.
“Can this joker stick to singing. Siasa itafanya upoteze sauti bure na warembo wanahitaji hiyo sauti yako nyororo. Slay queens can’t make it in the world of politics.’ Wrote Embakasi Mp Babu Owino.
Former gospel singer Holy Dave Muthengi commented on Babu Owino’s post urging him to accept the fair competition posed by singer Otille Brown.
To which a confident Babu answered saying that the musician is in no way a threat to his political career and his Embakasi East seat.
“Huyu ni mboga kwangu.” Said Babu Owino.
