Yvette Obura has finally said yes to her mystery man.
Fashion expert and health enthusiast Yvette Obura is finally off the market and will soon be walking down the aisle.
Going on her Instagram account earlier today, Yvette showed off a picture of her lovely engagement ring moments after her man popped the question.
Yvette’s sister followed to congratulate the mother of one on the good news while disclosing that the wedding will be going down soon.
Miss Obura recently introduced her lover to the world during an interview with radio girl Massawe Jappani.
She proceeded to explain that the reason why she never posts his photos is because he is a very busy man who barely has time for social media.
Yvette insisted his identity remain under wraps until when they are ready.
Umeweza kumpost kwa mitandao ya Kijamii?” asked Massawe.
She replied, “Hatawahi, hata wewe tu ndio umemuona, so ficha hapo, cheza chini… Anafanya tu vitu zingine, lakini hapendi social media, lakini for now wacha tucheze chini kidogo.”
Yvette’s relationship with Bahati
Gospel singer Bahati and mother to Mueni are currently co-parenting peacefully.
Miss Obura and Diana Marua are also on good terms since Mueni spends a lot of time with Bahati’s other children, Heaven and Majesty.
Miss Obura previously opened on disliking being referred to as Bahati’s baby mama. She stated that the name is associated with drama which is not her thing.
Reason for Bahati and Yvette’s breakup
It’s been five years since Bahati called it quits with his baby mama.
Yvette Obura explained that the two fell out of love after the birth of their daughter.
Miss Obura additionally did not like being in the limelight and thus felt like being with Bahati was too much pressure.
However, Yvette said that co-parenting is a breeze to her since she stems from a polygamous family.
“Nothing serious happened between the two of us to warrant a break up. People fall in and out of love many times, and that was our case. I fell out of love first. Apart from being his baby mama, I don’t like being in the limelight. I just felt like I couldn’t do it,” she said.
