From Benpol to Behnam. Anerlisa Muigai’s husband converts to Islam amidst marriage problems

Husband to Keroche heiress Anerlisa Muigai, Benard Paul Mnyang’ana alias Ben Pol has converted his religion from Christianity to Islam.

The ‘Moyo mashine’ hitmaker made the official announcement of his new lifestyle through his Instagram account where he uploaded a picture of his certificate of conversion as proof.

Alongside that, Benpol shared a couple of photos of him fully dorned in a kanzu, together with two of his fellow Muslim brothers at the mosque engaging in prayers.

The certificate showed that Benpol was no longer going by his Christian given name Benard but rather, Behnam Paul Mnyang’ana.

The official conversion happened Friday, October 23rd at the Masjid Ma’moor mosque in Tanzania, and Sheikh Isman Othman officiated it.

“Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim,” shared the singer as he begins his new journey.

Tanzania’s Benpol marriage to Kenyan sweetheart Anerlisa Muigai is currently on the rocks according to Anerlisa who disclosed the matter on Instagram.

The Keroche heiress was forced to speak about her marriage after Benpol allegedly disclosed their marital woes on a live Instagram video late one night.

It was reported that Benpol went to the Instagram live drunk and flirtatiously chatted with one of her female fans.

Anerlisa came out to condemn the act, saying that she deserves respect as a wife.

“Somebody called me asking if I was aware my husband was live talking things she couldn’t understand, and she even sent me screenshots. Unfortunately, I never got to watch but just to make it clear that we are not in good terms. I am a person who likes to protect my image and all I know is that I like being respected and any husband should do the same to their wife,” she wrote.

Ever since the incident, the couple has never been seen together. Anerlisa Muigai on the other hand never wears her wedding ring anymore according to the photos she shares on her social media accounts.
