Super talented actress Brenda Wairimu has been seriously angered by one netizen who tried to belittle her hard work over the years in the Kenyan film industry.
The netizen going by the username marto_cop on Twitter, highlighted that the country is not being serious for letting Brenda Wairimu be in yet another movie while singling out other female actresses.
“I’ve seen Brenda Wairimu yet in another movie! This country can’t be serious. We don’t have other female actors at all?” asked Marto_Kop.
This came after Brenda Wairimu announced that one of the films which she helped bring to life, ‘Disconnect’, will soon begin airing on America based movie channel Netflix.
Many common names star in the movie including; Nick Mutuma, Kate actress and Patricia Kihoro.

Brenda Wairimu was upset by the statement being that she put so much work into it and she did not fail to give the netizen her piece of mind.
Brenda made it clear that she had really worked hard on the movie ‘Disconnect’ alongside producer Tosh Gitonga and even invested her finances in bringing the film to life.
She added that she had also worked tirelessly for months on end on the second film ‘Subira’, to anextent of going an extra mile to help seek funds to support the project.
On that note, Brenda asked the netizen to let her do her work in peace.
“Or do you mean #Disconnect that I envisioned and worked for months to gather hype for till Tosh Gitonga put money in and brought to life? Or #Subira that I auditioned for weeks if not months for? Let me work. This is my work.” wrote an agitated Brenda
Or did you mean #Disconnect that I envisioned and worked for months to gather hype for till Tosh Gitonga put money in and brought to life? Or #Subira that I auditioned for weeks if not months for? Or 18 hours that I also sought for funding for? Let me work. This is my work. https://t.co/qrBNgb8Qy0

Several Kenyans on Twitter lined up in full support of Brenda, claiming that many people will praise actors like American born Dwayne Johnson when he stars in several movies, yet hate on their own Brenda Wairimu just for appearing in two consecutive films.
