It was a bittersweet moment for a couple after finally exchanging marital vows despite the challenges they faced initially.

11 years of waiting

However, it was not all happy and celebrations after the nuptials as the bride tragically died of cancer.
According to Dailymail UK, Ben and his wife first got engaged in 2010 but kept pushing forward their wedding day because of family losses, work and parenting their three children.
They finally managed to walk down the aisle in November at the Severn Hospice in Telford, Shropshire, barely days before Jen’s demise.

Wedding at last
TUKO.co.ke understands Jen, a maths teacher celebrated five years of being cancer-free after following breast cancer treatment successfully.
However, Jen was diagnosed with cancer again months later after she discovered a new lump under her armpit, just before the first COVID-19 lockdown.
It was then, when Jen started a new battle with the disease and was lucky enough to hold her wedding.
The mother of five, however, died peacefully on November 20, just three days after her wedding.
Jen died with her husband Ben, 34, by her side after wishing each other one last good night.
Jen’s death broke the hearts of many people on social media who sent out love to the hubby Ben and his entire family.
