The Kenya film industry mourns the untimely death of beautiful and talented actress Pretty Musave. Citizen TV’s Swahili news anchor Lulu Hassan announced her death on Tuesday morning September 15.
In her post, Lulu Hassan eulogized the deceased saying despite their great plans; God had better plans for her.
“In spite of our plans, God had better plans. Rest well, dear,” wrote Lulu Hassan.
She breathed her last while on her way to the Coast General Hospital according to a Facebook post by Frank254.
Additionally, Frank said her family members revealed the beautiful thespian started ailing in March this year.
Mutave is renowned for various roles in different Kiswahili TV dramas such as Aziza where she played Dee, Moyo (Waridi), Arosto (Zelda), Kijakazi (Lena), Udhalimu (Ashina), and Maza (Zari).
On another post written by Rashid Abdalla and Lulu revealed how they worked with her five days ago on a project. During the shooting, Ms Mutave showed much excitement on the set as she always gave more than 100% when acting.
The death of Mutave comes one month after the death of another Citizen TV’s actor Charles Bukeko. He was mostly known as Papa Shirandula.
Bukeko passed away at the Karen hospital on July 18 where he was rushed after feeling unwell. He graced our TV screens since the beginning of Papa Shirandula after the relaunching of Citizen TV.
The veteran entertainer was among Citizen TV’s employees who caught the covid-19 virus. He, however, experienced breathing problems while self-isolating at home. He passed away at the age of 58 years.
