Tanzanian and Bongo Flavor mega star Diamond Platnumz has spoken after he together with his team finished 14 days in quarantine required due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus.
The Baba Lao singer took to his Instagram account to share the news with his fans stating that he was happy he was finally out of the quarantine thanking God for not showing any symptoms.
He went on to thank the Tanzanian government through the Ministry of Health and all the doctors who took care of them for the past fourteen days. The father of four went on to pass a message to his Tanzanian fans stating that the disease, which originated from Wuhan, China was real and dangerous.
He went on to urge them to take necessary precautions the government had put in place to control and curb the spread of the disease in the country. He went on to state that staying in isolation for two weeks was not easy but it was a necessary measure taken to protect the loved ones, community and the entire country as a whole.
He stated that now that he was back in business, his aim is to continue working hard. Diamond and his team were put into quarantine after one of his managers, Sallam SK tested positive of the virus following their recent tour in Switzerland, Denmark, and France.

Sallam SK has since fully recovered from the disease but his Wasafi Classic Records recording label producer Lizer Classic has tested positive and has been put under quarantine.
On Tuesday, Tanzanian Health Minister Ummy Mwalimu stated that the country had recorded its first Coronavirus related death. She explained that the victim was a 49-year old man who had an underlying health condition. This was after the ministry revealed that it had discovered five more people had tested positive of the virus taking the tally to 19. She also revealed that the first person to test positive of the virus had fully recovered.
