Tanzanian superstar singer Diamond Platnumz has responded to his former girlfriend and baby mama Zari Hassan after she claimed that the Jeje singer was selling a lie when he offered to pay house rent for 500 Tanzanian families who have been affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Wasafi Classic Baby recording label C.E.O stated that he was going to pay rent for the families for the next three months since he understood the financial difficulties the virus has caused.
However, her baby mama Zari Hassan, popularly known as Zari the boss lady was quick to counter his statement. The Ugandan South Africa-based businesswoman claimed that Diamond did not know what his kids eat, how they sleep; if their fees and medical insurance are paid.
She went on to state that Diamond will never please the world when his family is not happy and taken care of. She added that the megastar was selling a lie and he was becoming a clown.
It did not take long for Diamond to respond. In an interview with Wasafi TV, the singer mentioned that after he saw Zari’s comments, he called her and they came to an agreement.
“Baada ya kuona ujumbe ule wa Zari, nlimpigia simu na kuueleza, licha ya tofauti zetu ila bado namheshimu sana. Alinielewa na nadhani baada ya Corona kuisha tutapanga namna ya kuwalea watoto wetu,” he said.
Diamond and Zari parted ways in 2018 after rumors started to go round that he had cheated on her. As the rumors continued to grow, it emerged that Diamond had gone out of their relationship and cheated on her with Tanzanian video vixen and singer Hamissa Mobetto.
The renowned businesswoman stated that she decided to call the relationship quits since Diamond put her dignity, respect, well-being, and integrity on the line and she could not let them be compromised.
After their break up, Diamond went on to date Kenyan model, singer, and radio show host Tanasha Donna. The two were blessed with a son but they broke up this year with cheating once again reported to be the cause of the breakup.
