Popular Youtuber and mental health advocate Elodie Zone has officially ended her envied relationship with Sol Generation singer Nviiri the Storyteller.
Going on her Instagram stories, Elodie Zone accused Nviiri of physically, mentally, emotionally, and verbally abusing her while they were dating.
She however insisted that the two are still ‘respectful friends.’
The 24-year-old who previously dated Mwai Kibaki’s grandson, Sean, said that she kept quiet and hid bruises from her two previous relationships, something she never plans on doing again.
She claimed that people stopped her from sharing what she was going through on social media because netizens would claim that she was acting out.
Elodie Zone further confirmed that Nviiri the Storyteller, left her stranded at a club past curfew hours on January 1st, 2021.
On that fateful night, Nviiri reportedly banged Elodie Zone’s head on a table before driving away, leaving Elodie and her cousins at the hands of policemen.
Elodie Zone went on to say that she is tired of well-known men taking advantage of focused and intelligent women.
According to the former radio presenter, such men cannot mentally keep up with ladies like her.
“I want to make ít clear that I am not dating Nviiri. I work 15 hours a day everyday, pray, meditate, journal, clean and respect my body. I have decided that I don’t owe any boy anything. I’ve hidden bruises from my past two relationships. I’ve felt stupid and have been undermined,” wrote Elodie.
Responding to Elodie’s breakup message, Nviiri informed all those who checked upon him that he is doing well.
He also hinted that his former relationship was toxic by posting a video playing Young Ma’s song, which quotes, “I left my ex-girlfriend coz she toxic.”
Nviiri and Elodie dated for some time in secret and only went public with their relationship one month ago.
Elodie was featured in Nviiri’s hit song ‘niko sawa’ and subsequently appeared in Sol Generation’s reality show.
