Gideon Moi Surprises Newlyweds in Iten by Giving Them Chopper Ride

Baringo senator Gideon Moi has given a newly married couple a treat they will never forget.

During a visit to Iten in Elgeyo-Marakwet County on Saturday, November 27, the senator came across the lovebirds, identified as Lorna and Fred, exchanging their vows.

Couple lands in Moi’s chopper

In a move that caused quite a buzz online, Moi gave them a free ride in his chopper.

A video shared by The Standard on social media depicted the presidential hopeful walking towards a maroon chopper as a huge crowd of onlookers witnessed the moment.

He proceeded to open the door, and a bridesmaid, wearing yellow, alighted.

She was then followed by the bride wearing a lovely white gown, and Moi helped her descend from the chopper.

The groom followed soon after, and the newlyweds posed for a photo with the senator.

Buzeki offers schoolgirl taste of chopper

TUKO.co.ke previously reported that Eldoret based businessman and politician Zedekiah Bundotich, better known as Buzeki, gave a schoolgirl the chance to board a chopper.

Buzeki shared numerous images of the young girl aboard his helicopter on social media.

Via the Thursday, August 26 post, Buzeki said he believes determination is the key to success.

“Education is an equaliser. I met this young girl, and I firmly believe that with determination and commitment, the future of our youth is bright.

We need to blend our academic skills with technical and entrepreneurial skills so that we widen our success opportunities,” he wrote.
