Days after Kenyan singer and Diamond Platnumz’s former girlfriend and third baby mama Tanasha Donna confirmed that they had indeed broken up; the former radio show host has come out to give details of what transpired.
In an interview with Carole Mandi on True Love magazine, the model revealed that she tried to fight for the relationship but she got tired as Diamond never showed any interest in salvaging it. She went on to narrate that she had to think of herself and her son.
“At some point, I got lost because now there is a child involved and now I’m thinking of my son. I don’t want my son to grow without a father, I’m really trying to fight for this relationship but I can’t be the only one fighting. So I had to think about what’s best for me and my son too. But then towards the end, things were getting rocky for about six months but were trying to see how we can make it work,” she narrated.
She went on to narrate that their breakup was not characterized by anything emotional but was about not living to each other’s expectations they had when they started the relationship adding that it was not anyone’s fault as people are different.
She went on to state that she really wanted to be her own person as well as be in a relationship with the Baba Lao singer. She went on to stress out that she was going to keep it private when it comes to co-parenting with the Wasafi Classic Baby recording label C.E.O as they were still trying to figure out how it will work.
The Gere singer went ahead to point out that she would like her son, Naseeb Junior to grow up knowing his siblings (Diamond’s other children with different baby mamas). She noted that she saw herself getting in touch with their mothers (Tanzanian video vixen and singer Hamisa Mobetto and South Africa-based Ugandan businesswoman Zari Hassan) when she will be ready to face them in the future.
Diamond and Tanasha breakup was a trending topic on social media for weeks. It was reported that she packed her belongings and flew back to Kenya after Diamond flew his video vixen for his hit song Jeje to the USA.
Media personalities weighed in on the breakup with a section of them stating that Diamond was not to blame as women get into relationships with the singer knowing too well that he will dump them and move on to another woman. Diamond has yet to give a comment on the breakup.
