Comedian and Kiss FM radio presenter Jalang’o now claims Mombasa Governor Joho owes him ksh 1 million bob for a community project.
However, there is a catch. Joho will only give Jalas the money if the governor gets to a million followers on Instagram by Sunday.
Not one to give up, Jalas took to his social media pleading with his fans to follow the governor. Jalang’o also promised to support his followers’ community project and requested them to tag their projects.
“3K FOLLOWERS IN 2HRS…. WAAA…GUYS FOLLOW @JOHO_001 @JOHO_001 . HE HAS MY 1M KSH FOR ONE COMMUNITY PROJECT…SO @JOHO_001 WANTS TO DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT WITH 1MILLION FOLLOWERS!!
HE HAS GIVEN ME UP TO SUNDAY TO GET HIM TO 1M FOLLOWERS TO DONATE 1M SHILLINGS TO ONE COMMUNITY PROJECT!! PLEASE DON’T FAIL ME! FOLLOW @JOHO_001 AND TAG YOUR COMMUNITY PROJECT! I WILL PERSONALLY BRING 1MILLION BOB TO SUPPORT YOUR PROJECT WHEREVER IT IS!!”
Joho is a philanthropist who always helps out where he can. He recently helped out Kelechi Africana, a Mombasa based artist, on his hit song ‘ring’.
“RING WAS COURTESY OF 001, HE FUNDED IT. I DID NOT KNOW HOW MUCH HE CONTRIBUTED BECAUSE WHEN YOU FOLLOW TOO MUCH YOU WILL EITHER LOOSE OR SOMETHING ELSE WILL HAPPEN,” Kelechi Africana said during an interview with a local daily.
Bongo star Susumila also revealed that Joho has also helped him out in his recent project with Mboso called Sonona.
According to Susumila, the governor fully supported the project with ksh 1.3 M.
“Music production is very expensive,” Susumila said.
