Khaligraph Jones’ much-anticipated boxing match against Eric Omondi finally went down, and the OG knocked out the funny comedian with blows that he’ll live to remember.
The boxing match took place at Kenyatta University’s Amphitheatre to settle a one year beef between the two celebrities.
Eric Omondi hit the gym for months in preparation for the fight, however, his body weight was still 40 kgs less than Khaligraph’s, and it was apparent who the winner would be.
Khaligraph Jones barely exerted himself on the ring, and you could see him laughing when an agitated Eric tried to rain blows at him while teasing and mocking him.
When the ring’s heat got too much for the comedian to handle, he started running away from OG Jones to escape his wrath.
Khaligraph did not spare the comedian nonetheless and left him with a severely injured body and bloody face.
Eric Omondi did not take the defeat lightly and he accused the ‘tuma kitu’ hitmaker of using foul methods like hitting below the belt and using underhand methods.
The King of comedy has promised to pursue legal action against the referee and Khaligraph Jones. He also vowed to have a re-match soon.
“My opponent used underhand methods, he played against traditional Boxing Rules, hitting below the belt is an uncouth and unpalatable move. My technical team has already disputed this match, and we are taking all legal action against the referee and my opponent. THERE WILL and THERE MUST be a re-MATCH,” wrote Eric Omondi.
Reason for Eric Omondi’s fight
Eric and Khaligraph have had a longstanding rivalry ever since the OG embarrassed the funny man in front of thousands of Kenyans.
In a candid interview with Massawe Jappani, Eric revealed that OG one day at a concert lifted him up and threw him up and down like a child, which affected Eric’s confidence as a man.
That’s when he vowed to begin his workout journey, which saw him gain a whooping 25 kgs in eight months.
He also promised to take revenge on Khaligraph once the time was right.
The whole fight has been uploaded on YouTube a day after Khaligraph Jones dropped a new banger ‘G like that’.
