KTN presenter and News Anchor Ken Mijungu has ventured into a helicopter hiring business as an extension to his car hire services.
The media personality took to social media to reveal that the helicopter charter, a business of hiring an entire chopper instead of individual aircraft seats, will set one back Sh186, 065 for just one hour.
“The choppers operate across the country. They are based in Wilson, 5 at our disposal plus a private jet. We target people who love luxury,” Mijungu said.
Mijungu further noted that his company targets wealthy business people and politicians, adding that there has been a rising demand ahead of the 2022 elections and BBI campaigns.
Putting the matter into perspective, if an entrepreneur, a politician or a couple were to rent Mjungu’s chopper to attend an event that lasts four hours, they would have to part with Sh744,260.
The news anchor indicated that he was also leasing out high-end 4x4s, private jets and yacht.
“Want to surprise someone, Want to land in style literally? Mijungu posted and encouraged his fans to use his services.
He is the founder of Execar-tive CarHire, a private firm that leases vehicles for events and executive transfers.
The company delivers top-of-the-range cars, luxurious small vehicles, and spare parts in the easiest ways possible.
The firm imports cars from Japan, Singapore, Australia, South Africa, Dubai and the United Kingdom.
Some of the services offered by Execar-tive CarHire include City tours, airport to hotel executive transfer, wedding cars, close protection, conference transfers, long and short time car leasing services and VIP and VVIP transfers.
Kenya has a good car hire business market, mainly because it is a regional hub and entrepreneurs can make a good killing in VIP transfers for delegates who attend various conferences in the country.
