Celebrated rapper and Switch TV presenter Kush Tracey has another reason to thank God after finally recovering from Covid19.
The Chatspot show host has been ailing for one month now ever since testing positive in August.
Kush Tracey announced the wonderful news on her social media accounts earlier today after getting tested for the third time and coming out negative.
“Got tested again for the 3rd time and I am negative. Guess I just conquered Covid19.” Wrote Kush Tracey
Kush was excited that she will finally be able to get back to the world, and she was more humbled by the immense support she got from the online community during this difficult time.
After surviving her experience, the secular turned gospel rapper has urged Kenyans not to stigmatize those affected as the disease is not a death sentence.
She also asked her fans to adhere to the rules put in place by the government to avoid the risk of contracting the virus which has spread all around the globe.
“A girl is ready to get back to the world. What an experience. Grateful to God and to all my online fam that showed me love and support all through this period. The encouragement and love was overwhelming.”
How Covid19 affected Kush Tracey’s lifestyle
Testing positive for Covid19 affected Kush Tracey’s life more so because she works in the public domain.
The bubbly presenter was no longer able to go to work since working at a TV station means being surrounded by many people which posed a significant health risk.
Her Covid19 symptoms were also not severe, so she was able to quarantine herself at home instead of being admitted in hospital.
Kush additionally informed her eager fans that she will be back with their favourite interviews on Chatspot as from this coming week.
“Don’t stigmatize those who get infected. It ain’t a death sentence. Just follow the rules given by the government, relax and get well. I’m so happy right now.” Advised Tracey.
