Ginimbi, a 36year old Zimbabwean celebrity and renowned businessman, met his untimely death as a result of a tragic accident early Sunday morning. At the time of his demise, Ginimbi was returning home from attending a birthday celebration. He was in the company of Lumumba Karim, Elisha and a fitness trainer as well as a video vixen Mitchell. They all succumbed after being burnt beyond recognition after the car burst into flames.
Ginimbi was an extremely wealthy man. He was driving a luxurious Rolls Royce Wraith before he met his death after it collided directly with a Honda Fit.
His sister had revealed that Ginimbi had disclosed his death wish to her before he died. The sister is now left with the responsibility of fulfilling his desire.
In a statement made to the media, she revealed that her brother’s desire was to be buried at his lucrative mansion and have his mourning period extended.
This is new in Zimbabwe as Zimbabwean traditions state that one should be buried two days after their death. Contrary to this, Ginimbi wanted a longer mourning timeline.
To fulfil his wish, Ginimbi will be laid to rest on Saturday. The burial ceremony is organized to kick start on Thursday, his body brought to his mansion on Friday, and he will finally be buried on Saturday.
The sister to the deceased gave a description referring to her late brother as “a person who was open and free to talk to. Ginimbi was a person who was willing to assist not only his immediate family members; but other people as well who were not related to him.”
Local celebrities, including socialite Huddah, have publicly mourned Ginimbi, stating that he was a hard-working businessman. He was popular among both Kenya and Tanzania circles.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
