Lilian Nganga Supports Diana Marua’s Venture in Music.

The wife to musician Bahati has left many, including public figures, singing her praises on social media. The latest to do so is former Machakos county first lady Lilian Nganga.

Going on Twitter, Lilian requoted a tweet from Diana Marua, who shared her first music video of Hatutaachana.

In her message, the philanthropist reiterated that everyone can be whatever they want to be in the world.

She encouraged Diana, saying she could become what she’s always wanted to be, hence supporting her move to go into music.

Backlash from fans

One fan, however, criticised the music rather than the artiste, noting she missed days when the likes of Juliani and Daddy Owen were top of their game.

“But Multiple musical notes this is a big no, I miss those days of Juliani, Daddy Owen, Juacali the lyrics on their songs were (hot). Those days where it was hard to get to the studio at least we were listening to good music.”

This follows earlier sentiments from fans who had urged her to stick to content creation as her music was below par.

Most argued that she had over time built a corporate image that continues to attract brands that she should endeavour to maintain by keeping off the music.

Akothee supports Diana

Akothee, who made a stage appearance alongside Diana during her launch, supported the upcoming musician.

The Hayakuhusu singer also heaped praise on Diana’s outfit, the subject of discussion among some social media users.

She further noted that people perceive music through sight and hearing.

“Music is for the eyes and ears, people see and listen to music. Diana, do your thing. I was only taught to clap for others when they are winning,” she stated.

Akothee’s word of encouragement caught Diana’s attention, and she responded with heart emojis and referred to her as her “mama”.
