Celebrated Machachari actress Wanjiku Mburu, stage name Mama Baha shared a photo of her in a hospital bed receiving treatment.
Although Mama Baha announced she was hospitalized in September, she did not reveal the reason. The actress has, however, made an announcement detailing what was ailing her.
According to Mama Baha, she had tested positive for Covid-19, and she went into self-isolation.
“SO MY RESULTS ARE IN, AND I HAVE TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19. I AM GOOD TODAY AND IN SELF-ISOLATION.”
Mama Baha went on to urge her fans to always go for Covid-19 testing whenever they experience any symptom. She also urged Kenyans to continue wearing masks and practicing self-hygiene practices.
According to the actress, she only experienced headaches and chest constructions. However, she did not lose her sense of smell or high temperatures as her body temperature was always at 36.
Despite being in the hospital earlier, Mama Baha revealed she is getting better and even managed to do some house chores. She went on to thank God for seeing her through the deadly virus.
Wanjiku also thanked her fans for standing by her and praying for her when she needed them the most.
“I TESTED POSITIVE FOR COVID-19 AND THE LAST FEW DAYS HAVE BEEN TRICKY, BUT TODAY I DID SOME CHORES. I WANT TO THANK YOU GUYS AND YOUR PRAYERS AND MAY YOU BE BLESSED AND MAY YOU BE KEPT UNDER HIS WINGS. I WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOU THAT ONE I WAS SICK.”
Wanjiku’s revelation comes after the country continues to record Covid-19 cases. However, there seems to be some light after the nation recorded the least fatalities on Saturday the 28th of November 2020.
However, the country is still not out of the woods as Kenya recorded 711 new Covid-19 infections on Sunday the 29th of November 2020.
Quick recovery Mama Baha.
