Popular veteran radio presenter Maina Kageni has announced to his fans that he will retire from radio presenting in 2022.
Speaking during his breakfast show on Classic 105 FM, Kageni on Thursday, December 9, said he will end his long tenure on the radio in 2022.
The media personality revealed that he is planning to start his own business venture in the United States after his retirement.
“Come next year, I am done. I will be retiring from this radio job. I plan on running a club in Miami,” he said.
When he was asked where he will be living, he stated that he had already bought a house in the US.
“I will be living in my condor. I bought it some time back. I thought we talked about this?” Maina posed while responding to his co-host, comedian Churchill.
Kageni and Churchill aka Mwalimu King’ang’i have made themselves household names due to their Classic 105 show famously known as Maina and King’ang’i in the morning.
Kageni leaves female fans in awe
As previously reported by TUKO.co.ke, the radio host recently shared a photo of him holding his beloved ‘son’ as he slept on his chest.
He was carrying him on his lap with his arms around the boy, giving him maximum comfort during his rest.
Kageni captioned the post, noting the boy had decided to take a nap after a long day.
“Sleepy head after a long day,” he wrote.
His female fans were over the moon, with many noticing his love for the boy, while others even requested he becomes their baby daddy.
“Maina this boy must mean the world to you, and I can’t even begin to imagine what he makes your mum feel when he calls her shoes. May God continue keeping you safe for this handsome boy.”
