Woman locked inside city hotel
Meanwhile, a woman locked inside the washrooms of a Nairobi hotel finally received help after sharing her plight on Twitter.
Identified as Sandra Wahiga, the lady said she had visited the hotel’s washrooms, during which it was locked from outside.
Taking to Twitter, Sandra said the hotel operators were not aware she was inside, making her spend an hour therein.
“Anyone who follows me, I need your help. I am locked in at an eatery along Moi Avenue, Pepinos along Kimathi street CBD. I was in the ladies when they locked up, which was an hour ago. Please retweet to help me get to the manager or owners,” she said in her viral tweet.
Police officers responded to her case in conjunction with the hotel’s management, apologising to her following the ordeal.
