Mike Sonko Promises KSh 250k Reward for Friend’s Stolen Luxurious Furniture

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has announced a KSh 250k reward for 25 sets of furniture stolen from his German friend.

Going on social media, the politician stated that a German national doing business at the Kenyan coast had lost the furniture to theft, which she suspected was perpetrated by her workers.

The unique sets of hotel furniture are believed to have been sold to a business in Shanzu.

“A German lady friend of mine lost 25 sets of furniture as attached below, it’s suspected to have been stolen through an inside job/game from her business premises around Shanzu area in Mombasa County. The 25 sets of furniture were stolen during the covid period when businesses were closed.”

“She’s offering a reward of Sh250,000/= to anyone who will give credible information which will lead to the recovery of furniture. It’s suspected they were sold to someone owning a club/hotel at the North Coast,” Sonko’s announcement read,” read the post.

Sonko’s tearful message late his mother

As previously reported by TUKO.co.ke, the politician penned a touching tribute in memory of his mother, Saumu Mukami who passed on 24 years ago.

Sonko emotionally stated that the pain of losing his beloved mum is still fresh in his heart.

The politician expressed lots of gratitude to his late mother and asked God to continue resting her soul in peace.

“In loving memory of my lovely mum Saumu Mukami Kaimathari Mbuvi, It is so painful to lose a mother. It’s exactly 24years since you went to be with God. Your life made me all that I am and your death made me more sensitive to other people’s pain and suffering,” he wrote.
