Nai Fest show organiser socialite Bridget Nai Nai fest show organiser Bridget Achieng has been subjected to several online trolls after many artists failed to perform at the event owing to financial and time constraints.
What came as a shocker was when Kenyan newest female hit song naker Tanasha Donna cancelled her performance days to the event claiming that the event organiser was taking her for granted.
According to Tanasha’s statement, she was not being paid enough amount of cash as per her status in the music industry.
She insisted that she had put a lot of time, money and effort in her music and it was high time event organisers stopped taking advantage of artists like her.
Tanasha then apologised to her fans with promises of better shows in the future.
“I would like to apologise to my fans for not being able to perform at the nai fest. Due to unforeseen circumstances, my team and I had to cancel the show. I believe it’s high time promoters and organisers stop taking artists for granted and respect the craft. We put in a lot of work, hard-earned money and time in the craft and my brand.” wrote Tanasha.
Curious fans went ahead to ask the event organiser socialite Bridget Achieng to clarify the issue during her latest Q and A session on her Instagram stories.
Bridget Achieng made it clear that it was not her fault why that happened and that it was miss Donna who changed their agreed-upon deal last minute.
According to Bridget, after Tanasha changed their deal, she proceeded not to attend the event’s soundcheck.
She even learned about the ‘gere’ hitmaker cancelling her attendance from her social media platform.
Despite the altercation, socialite Achieng assured her fans that there is no bad blood within the two and even promised that Tanasha will get to perform in the next Nai fest that she will organise.
“She changed our deal last minute, hakuja soundcheck, all of a sudden I saw she wrote cancelled online. But we good, she will be there next time. No bad blood.” answered Bridget.
