Award-winning comedian Eric Omondi has hit out at Kenya Film Classification Board Chairman Ezekiel Mutua after he slammed him stating that the former Churchill Show host was putting inappropriate content on his social media platforms.
Ezekiel Mutua stated that people have been doing all kinds of stuff and posting them online that have left him shocked as they show that they do not respect themselves.
He went on to blast Eric Omondi stressing out that he calls himself “The King of Comedy in Africa” and yet he does not even respect children when creating his video clips.
He added that Eric should put a disclaimer that his videos are for adults.
“People are doing all manner of stuff, including some people like Eric Omondi, Unashangaa huyu ni mwendawazimu gani, kuna heshima gani unajionesha kwa video kwa njia ambayo haifai na wewe ni mtu mzima. Na unasema ati wewe ni King of Comedy Afrika.“
“Sasa King of comedy, si ujiheshimu basi, king of comedy si uwe na heshima kwa watoto na hizo vitu ufanye then you put a disclaimer ni za watu wazima,” said Ezekiel Mutua.
In a quick response to Ezekiel Mutua, the award-winning comedian warned the self-proclaimed moral boss to stop using his name for cheap public stunts adding that he has never understood what Ezekiel Mutua does for a living.
“DR. Ezekiel Mutua. This is your last warning. This is not the way to address the PRESIDENT of an entire Continent. Stop using my name for these cheap publicity stunts. I have never understood exactly what you do for a living. You have not helped the Entertainment Industry in any way,” he responded.
Eric went on to troll the KFCB boss saying that he did not need to go all the way to Mombasa to do the conference.
He added that the money he used to travel to Mombasa, he should have given him so that he could add some cameras to his newly-opened studios so that his team can shoot more videos for young talented Kenyans.
