Controversial socialite Vera Sidika made the choice to move back to her childhood home in Mombasa. The former video vixen also hinted on running for leadership in the area.
Vera has positioned herself as a viable businesswoman. She is the owner and founder of Vera Sidika Beauty Parlor which appeals to high-end clients.
The socialite explained that she had really missed Mombasa, but more specifically her mom and the rest of the family.
“I really missed my mother and the rest of my family members. I missed everything about growing up, the simple things like being around the people who know me truly,” Vera said.
“Coming back to Mombasa makes ne very happy and i can’t wait to invest here and probably to think of equipping myself into positions of power as I mingle with the right people and learn from all,” she added.

Asked what will happen to her business now that she is no longer in Nairobi, Vera said that she has also moved her business to the coast.
“I have moved the Vera Sidika Beauty Parlor here but that is not the end of my investment as I have an elaborate projected business plan. This is where I grew up, a town I love and whose people I respect. I am ready to work with like-minds as I bring services to them,” Vera explained.
Vera went ahead to say that the people in Mombasa are very loyal, and that they treat her differently. She also said that the business environment in Mombasa is friendlier than that of Nairobi.
The socialite also pointed out that a lot of female celebrities in Nairobi have opened beauty parlors and it has become a cliché. She mentioned it is one of the reasons why she moved from the city.
Vera plans to launch the parlor in Nyali on 5th August.
