Wendy William faces backlash after harsh comment on gay-ism

Celebrated TV show host Wendy Williams has found herself facing the harsh side of fans. This was after she made a somewhat controversial comment during her show regarding gay men.

According to her, gay men should not wear skirts. She feels they will never feel or be a woman so they should stop acting like one.

Wendy went ahead to discourage homosexuals from wearing heels.

The LGBT community did not take her words kindly. Many of them felt Wendy insulted them. According to them, it was not in her place to instruct them what they should put on.

The united community took to the social media platforms condemning her words.

An apologetic Wendy

In a bid to redeem herself, the TV host took to her social media to defend her words. According to her, she was only having a conversation and did not intend to hurt anyone.

Apparently, she did not realise her words were hurtful. She claims she only noticed after rewatching her show while she was at home.

She gave out her apology and insisted she would never insult her fans or speak from a place of malice.

Struggling to control her tears, Williams went live on Twitter claiming she is ‘deeply sorry’.

She then went ahead to acknowledge and thank the LGBT community for their love and support.

Wendy claims she has had a long-standing relationship with the LGBT+ community throughout her life.

According to the TV host, anyone who knows her is aware of her love and support for this community.

The busty host promised she would improve and do better.

Netizens reactions

Many netizens came out to condemn her words.

Even after Wendy gave out a public apology, some fans still condemned and refused her apology.

One fan seemed very offended, and despite her apology, he still felt Wendy insulted the LGBT+. ” Not acceptable..U brought back horrible memories of what I have been through with my families,” the fan commented.

He, however, went ahead to express his love for Wendy, claiming her mouth might put her in trouble one day.
