Barely two years after joining the Mediamax owned TV station K24, celebrated news anchor Betty Kyallo has called it quits.
The now-former Upclose with Betty show host emotionally announced her departure from the TV station on Saturday 30, night. The mother of one thanked everyone who supported her journey while reminding them where they can find her on social media platforms.
“I really appreciate you all. It’s now time for me to say goodbye here on K24 TV. If we meet again great, if not you know you can find me on all my social media platforms; Instagram, Facebook and of course YouTube my channel Betty Kyallo Lately is going to be popping and we are going to be doing great things there. Thank you so much for all your support. I appreciate you. God bless you and I love you. Goodnight,” she signed out.
Her producer Sarah Mwangi was among the first ones to congratulate her on what she achieved with the media station. She pointed out that she was proud of the work they did together and was happy they were stepping out shoulder high.
The former KTN news anchor took to her Twitter page to assure her fans that her exit from the TV station was not a goodbye as they will be seeing her sooner than later.
“Thank You guys for always watching and sharing with us on all our shows. We appreciate you and blessings to you. Never a goodbye but a see you around. We are happy to always give you the best and amazing content,” read part of her Tweet.
The Flair By Betty C.E.O joined K24 in 2018 from KTN in a celebrated style as the TV station poached the best of the best news anchors from other TV stations.
Her exit comes after Mediamax announced the impending mass firing of employees citing tough economic times due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
