Why I can never work with Timmy Tdat even if I was given ten million shillings – Kidis explains

Mombasa-based singer Kidis The Jembe has explained why he can never work with his compatriot Timmy Tdat even if he was offered a whopping Ksh. 10 million.

In a Q&A session with a local TV station, the Twajichanganya (Kamua Leo) singer explained that the likes of the Tumekubali rapper’s songs only stay relevant for about two to three months and everyone forgets about them. He claimed that he does not do collaborations with just anyone in the music industry since he always wants his songs to be played from one generation to the next.

“Yaani bila kuenda mbali, huyu jamaa anaitwa Timmy TDat. Huyu n***a huyu. Ni ngumu sana nifanye kazi na yeye. Ni ngumu sana vijana kama hawa Timmy TDat ngoma zao kukaa. Ngoma zao za December na November haiku tena. Simwelewi kwanza anaimba nini,” he explained.

He went on to claim that he also has gun tattoos and he may also have a black heart. He went on to reveal without mentioning the name of a video director who conned him and other gospel female artists who cursed him.

He claimed the video director played the female artists but nowadays he is nowhere to be found as the ladies’ curses seems to have worked. He added that he even involved the police to look for him and it took six months before he was arrested in Westlands but he later forgave him.

Kidis went on to bash another Mombasa-based singer, Susumila stating that he does not like any of his songs because he is not a singer but a rapper. He went on to state that he left Mombasa for the upcoming artists to evolve but Susumila has insisted on staying and does not want to give them space to grow.

He revealed that the best song that he has ever released was Twajichanganya (the original version) as every time he listens to it, he sheds a tear as it reminds him of where he came from. He claimed that when he was releasing the song, he was dead broke and had to lock himself up in the house.
