Gospel turned secular singer Willy Paul earlier today furiously lashed out at Kenyan music societies MCSK after a recent audit done by Ronalds LLP revealed that the organization has been swindling musicians’ royalties.
Through a video posted by the ‘prakata’ hitmaker on his social handles, Willy Paul angrily voiced out his mind on this injustice Kenyan musicians have been facing.
The singer openly hurled threats at MCSK and their counterparts while clutching knives, saying that they should make sure not to cross his path for he will not be lenient with any of them.
Willy Paul pointed out how musicians run out of money while doing their projects, yet the music society pockets almost all the cash they collect locally when their songs are played.
“Tunarun out of money kwa project zetu mnaziibia. Mnatuibia kama wasanii. Bastards, mtatujua nyinyi Personally mtanijua, mkiniona piga corner buda.” Yelled Willy Paul.

It’s so sad that the government has failed to help the artists! Yaani tunaibiwa tu na hawa wazeee MCSKK and the rest! We don’t work for you!! Some of us came from nothing like me and here you are, feeding your balls and ovaries with our money!!! Please if you see me, piga corner!!! We demand an explanation, not only that… plus all the money you’ve stolen ama mtajua hamjui!
Willy Paul was very bitter of how many artists started their career from nothing and are still not getting paid despite their songs playing everywhere.
He demanded an explanation from MCSK and further asked for payment of all the stolen money so far.
“It’s so sad that the government has failed to help the artists! Yaani tunaibiwa tu na hawa wazee wa MCSK and the rest! We don’t work for you!! Other artists like Otille Brown and Khaligraph joined Willy Paul in asking the president to intervene in the matter.
Otille Brown has penned a letter to Uhuru Kenyatta asking him to ensure that the corrupt officials are arrested, and all their wealth redistributed to the artists.
This comes after a recent audit report exposed bodies like MCSK, PRiSK and Kamp for misappropriation of funds.
