Celebrated Genge artist Juakali had a savage response to one critic who claimed that his game was dead after he started singing Gengetone with the new artists.
This comes at a time where the new Genre of music is facing a backlash from a section of Kenyans who term it as a genre that lacks content.
The fan took to Twitter to express his disappointment claiming that Juakali’s game is dead.
“[email protected] I respected you until you started doing gengetone with kids….Your game is dead,” he claimed.
Juakali in his response told off the critic by reminding him that he has never bought tickets to any of his events. He added that he has a whole album with the new artistes.
“I started this genre what do you expect? You have never bought tickets of any of my events so have been dead to me my whole career. Nmerecord a whole album with this kids,” he replied.
The Kwaheri rapper has already featured in three gengetone songs namely Wale Mang’aa, Inachuna and Nyoka ya Shaba.
