Renowned City pastor Godfrey Migwi took to his social media account to call out entertainers who were using clergy clothing to do secular songs.
The pastor stated that he would not remain silent as people misuse clergy clothing adding that men of God are supposed to speak what must be said and lead people into places of safety and openness.
He pointed out that the use of clergy clothing’s for entertainment more so for secular songs and for personal gain was totally wrong. He stressed out that it was the highest level of insult as far as the body of Christ was concerned.
He went on to warn entertainers stating that they were attracting curses upon their lives and their generations to come. He went on to mention controversial gospel turned secular singer Bahati and award-winning, hard-hitting rapper Khaligraph Jones as the perfect example.
“I am warning you, misguided entertainers, you are attracting curses upon your life and your generations to come, I know you’re after fame and money but you’re completely lost, mark my words, you better repent and break the curses, God is never mocked, Woe unto you and your generations to come after you Bahati and the one I heard he’s called Khaligraph Jones, wearing Bishops gowns is wrong,” he warned
He advised Bahati and Khaligraph Jones to take the gears and gowns they had used to the nearest Bishop and repent before they started to regret their decisions.
“Let me advise you before you regret, take those priest headgears and gowns to the nearest Bishop and repent, good to know that even in the Church not all ministers of the Gospel wear them, there’s a procedure to follow before you wear priest gowns,” he directed.
The man of God went on to quote a Bible verse where it described how sinful it was to use holy clothes for personal gains.
The City pastor is well-known for calling out what he sees wrong. On Friday, May 15, he called out resident Uhuru Kenyatta for remaining silent on the in Ruai.
