Actress Wema Sepetu denies claims she depends on men for money

Award winning Tanzanian actress Wema Sepetu has refuted claims that she depends on men for her upkeep.

The former Miss Tanzania [2006] took to her social media page to put things straight stressing out that she has never depended on any man and she has never been after any man’s money.

The Tanzania’s sweetheart further added that she lives for love and not for material things.

“Sijawahi na Sitowahi kuwa dependent on a Man….!!!! Naona too many f***** comments saying eti Iam after men’s money… Smh… Ulizeni hao wanaume kama nishawahi kuwa demanding… They give what they can… “

The actress has had her ups and down with one being paraded in court over a leaked sex tape scandal. After numerous court hearings however, the case was quashed by the court.

Wema Sepetu is an award winning actress.

In February last year, Wema was also among one of Tanzania’s celebrities who were accused of drug abuse. This was after the Tanzanian police launched an onslaught on top celebrities who were allegedly involved in drug trafficking, asking them to report to the Central police for questioning.

Wema Sepetu is a darling to any Tanzanians.

They included Diamond Platnumz, TID, Ray C, Idris Sultan, Abbas Mutevu, Rugemarila Mutahaba, Vanessa Mdee, among others. She was found guilty with the judge giving her a one year sentence if she failed to pay a fine of Tsh. 2,000,000 [Ksh. 87,676]. The talented actress managed to pay the fine and avoided a jail term.
