Akothee and I were just having fun – Ommy Dimpoz explains swimming pool video clip

Tanzanian singer Ommy Dimpoz has come out to explain that nothing happened between him and Kenyan songstress Akothee after a video emerged on social media platforms showing the Sweet Love singer shaking her behind on top of his head in a swimming pool.

In the short video clip seen by Kenyan news.co.ke, the two singers seem to be enjoying each other’s company with Ommy Dimpoz’s song dubbed Kata playing in the background.

Speaking to Mambo Mseto, Ommy Dimpoz explained that the two had been invited to perform at a certain hotel in Watamu. He went on to state that the clip was taken last December before it made its way to the social media platforms a few days ago.

Ommy Dimpoz clarified that they were just having fun but nothing intimate happened between them. He added that the Give It To Me singer is a fun lady to hang out with as she always brings positive vibes everywhere she goes.

Ommy Dimpoz almost saw his career come to a an end in 2018 after he underwent three surgeries for a throat-related illness. However, the star managed to pull through and made a comeback in the music industry releasing a gospel song dubbed Ni wewe in 2019.

The singer is currently riding high on his song Kata remix which he has featured Tanzanian songbird Nandy, Kenya’s hard-hitting rapper Khalighraph Jones and dancehall artiste Redsan.
