Citizen TV anchor and host Rashid Abdalla on Friday, November 8, unveiled his playful side when he joined traditional dancers in a jig at the Citizen TV studios.
The traditional dancers, he hosted in his mid-morning show, Sema na Citizen, showcased a dance routine that excited Rashid, prompting him to join them on the floor in a seamless move while Hassan Mugambi cheered him on
“Because there’s no other way of life,” he captioned the video posted on his Instagram page.
The video prompted Lulu Hassan, his wife, and fellow Citizen TV anchor, to take a jibe on Rashid Abdalla’s exploits indicating that he was making life tough for her.
“Ah, Rashid, Tell me now, who is going to wash that trouser now?” she lamented.
Other Instagram users also weighed in on the challenge, stating that Abdalla’s actions were a reminder that life was not to be taken too seriously at times.

Rashid Abdalla’s light moment came with the backdrop of their show Huba, which airs on Africa Magic Bongo, bagging an award in the 2019 Promax Awards in South Africa.
On a post on her Instagram page on Thursday, November 8, Hassan announced that her show had been awarded at the star-studded event that was held in South Africa on November 7.
