Police officers found a female civil servant that works at the Ministry of Interior Coordination, her boyfriend, and her son dead in their home at Jogoo Road Government Quarters buildings.
Neighbours of the family had reported that the three victims had not left the house since Sunday. Police officers went to the house to see whether they were okay.
A police report indicates that there were signs of struggle. The trio seemed to have fought their attacker(s). Officers found the body of the lady and that of her son decomposing in the bedroom. The boyfriend’s body was in the bathroom. His legs and hands were tied up.
The young boy’s school had contacted the boy’s father questioning why he had not reported to the school. He tried to call his son’s mother, but she did not answer his calls.
The civil servant worked at the Registrar of Person’s office, Mathare branch. Police officers are still investigating the issue.
This incident comes just a few days after officers found the body of a woman who had been missing for several weeks in Kajiado.
Caroline Maina went missing on 12th February under mysterious circumstances. She failed to go back home and did not call to tell anyone of her whereabouts.
Police officers said that there is a possibility Caroline’s attacker tortured her before killing her. The attacker mutilated her body and gouged her eyes out.
Caroline was last seen at Stima Plaza, Ngara. Officers found her vehicle dumped in Kawangware near Gatina Primary School.
