Naivasha woman who killed her four children, wrote a detailed letter to her eldest son, who is pursuing his university education. She explained the troubles she went through before killing her four children.
In the letter, she explained how frustrated she was. She was unable to pay her rent since April. Additionally, she could not pay her electricity bill of 1400 shillings.
“I know I belong to jail… I know I will spend the rest of my life behind bars, but I am prepared for it,” the letter reads in part.
The woman explained that despite loving her boyfriend dearly, he betrayed her. She warned her son against having anything to do with him. She called him a pretender who had ill intentions.
The suspect is a mother of six. With four of her children dead, she asked her eldest son to take care of his younger sibling. She also asked him to remain focused and continue with his university education.
Surprisingly, she also indicated where she wanted them to bury her children. She had already bought them new outfits for the burial.
In what seemed like an attempt to encourage her eldest son, she quoted a verse of the Bible, John 14:1. The verse says, ‘let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, also believe in me.’
Family Whatsapp group
Jackson Kimotho, the brother to the suspect, told the news stations how his sisters had posted a photo to the family WhatsApp group. She took a photo of the four children and sent it to the Whatsapp group at around 2.28 pm.
“She was seeking comments about children. One of the group users said that they were adorable,” Kimotho said.
Moments later, she wrote: “Take a moment of silence and give final respect to my kids.“I don’t understand, they are dead — I have killed them.”
She then sent an old photo of herself and captioned it, ‘Betty the murderer.’
