The Kirinyaga County boss has turned the battlefield to the police force over failure to arrest take preceding action to politicians who she claims have used vulgar language and hate speeches against her.
The county boss said that it’s evident the law is applied in a discriminatory manner favouring some politicians.
Speaking at Kiamutugu Boys High School in Kirinyanga county during Jamhuri day celebrations, the bitter county chief expressed concern on why the county commissioner and his team were remaining silent over evident cases of vulgar speech.
The governor said that her support for the Building Bridges Initiative(BBI) is the root cause of her political battles.
“But now that the BBI has been brought to us and found to be the best model of leadership, they are now in its full support and have nothing else to do other than hurl these insults,” Waiguru said.
The County commissioner warned boda-boda operators who he said were notorious for disrupting meetings and causing chaos. Mr Jim Njoka added that politicians who hired gangs to disrupt rallies will also face the law.
