Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader and 2022 presidential candidate, Dr. Alfred Mutua will today launch his Presidential manifesto.
The event will be held at Panafric hotel, Nairobi.
In September last year, Mutua declared he will vie for the presidency come 2022. He promised Kenyans jobs, economic freedom, and unity if elected.
The governor who is serving his second term said things were not right in the country and will never be so “unless we change the leaders who lead us”.
Mutua stated that he was driven to throw his hat in the ring after being approached by numerous Kenyans including disillusioned youth.
Mutua argued that the dream of the country’s forefathers at independence had been lost, further comparing Kenya to a computer that needed a reboot.
ODM chief Raila Odinga is also expected to launch the Azimio La Umoja countrywide meetings next Friday.
The December 10 event at Kasarani Sports Centre is expected to showcase all the power and might of the former prime minister.
It is here Raila is expected to announce his fifth run for the presidency.
And last September, Kanu national delegates appointed party leader Gideon Moi as the 2022 presidential flagbearer.
The delegates drawn from across the country converged for the meeting at the Bomas of Kenya, Nairobi.
