Celebrated comedian and radio personality Felix Oduor popularly known as Jalang’o, has reacted after former Tahidi High actor Peter Kamau commonly known as Omosh, pleaded for financial help again from Kenyans.
The Kiss 100 presenter took to his social media pages to slam Omosh for lying on Live TV said that people never learn as he assured Kenyans that the once fan-favourite actor received more than Ksh. 1,000,000 from his show dubbed Jalang’o TV.
He added that he also personally got more than Ksh. 7, 00,000 from Kenyans who sent money to him, adding further than that he hosted Omosh two weeks after he came out about his struggles.
“@zeroheropropertiesltd got him land and @sungtimber1 built him a [email protected] gave him food worth 60k and another 100k in cash!! Hii ni ujinga tu!,” read part of his statement.
Jalang’o’s statement comes after Omosh, while appearing in an interview with TV47, revealed that as soon as the wave of empathy flamed out, people turned their attention elsewhere, leaving him hanging.
He claimed that people pledged money that he has never received as he got less than one million shillings which he used to settle the debts that he had incurred.
A few months ago, after Kenyans got wind of his unfortunate story, they complained that his life struggles were brought about by his love for the brown bottle, which he cannot seem to untangle himself from.
However, he promised to work on himself and get his life straight, stating that he attends fellowship on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and this gives him the willpower to avoid drinking alcohol.
He went on to explain that when someone becomes famous, everyone thinks they have money, while in the real sense, they are just making enough to see them through another day.
Apart from Jalong’o other celebrities who came out to call him out were comedian Mulamwah who said that money comes slowly and goes really quick.
He advised that when one gets cash, they should always assume it is the last they will ever get and manage.
Another comedian DJ Shiti castigated Omosh telling him that he should now start selling face masks like other men who fend for his family.
He said that there was no way people can wake up early to go look for money to give him so that he can quench his thirst for alcohol.
