If you want a united country choose Mudavadi, Ruto is still young he can wait – Senator Malala endorses ANC party leader’s 2022 Presidential bid

Kakamega County Senator Cleophas Malala has urged Kenyans to support Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi instead of Deputy President William Ruto in the coming general elections.

While speaking in Uasin Gishu County, he explained that Musalia Mudavadi is a great leader, and if Kenyans want a united country, they should support him.

Nawaomba tafadhali this time round tukitaka Kenya iwe pamoja sisi kama majirani wenu tumekuja kuwaomba tafadhali musimame na Musalia Mudavadi akuwe rais wa jamhuri ya Kenya in 2022 and Kenya will be united,” he said.

The Senator explained that the second in command should shelve his Presidential ambitions in the coming general elections as he is still young and can wait.

He added that William Ruto’s political enemies have been trying to trap him and as a sharp person, he should not fall into their traps but wait till they are not in power so that he can run for the country’s top seat.

In September this year, Musalia Mudavadi said that he was done supporting others as he was ready to get in the ring and fight for the Presidential seat.

He noted that after he backed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2002 and 2013, and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga in 2007 and 2017, it was now their turn to look at how best to return the gesture and support him for the Presidency in 2020.

He explained that his government will prioritize measures to revive the economy
