MP savagely attack ODM leader Raila

Kimilili Member of Parliament Didmus Barasa has taken a dig at Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga stressing out that he should be in jail for breaking a couple of laws.

The vocal lawmaker in a video that surfaced online on Sunday 22 November 2020 the person who is responsible for causing chaos in the country was Raila Odinga.

He boldly claimed that the only way to put the former Prime Minister in his place was to appoint him as the Interior Cabinet Secretary.

He explained that the law must be followed by everyone and it does not matter if someone is in government, a former Prime Minister, a boda boda rider, or a vegetable vendor.

He went on to state that Raila went against the law when he appointed himself as the Peoples’ President after he lost the 2017 general elections.

He added that he was also in the wrong when he told his followers to stop doing their work so that they can demonstrate on the streets only for him to leave them out in the cold and take a flight to the USA.

Barasa has in the past shown interest in the Interior Cabinet Secretary position that is currently being held by Fred Matiaing’i.

In September this year, the MP called out Matiang’i for trying to intimidate Deputy President William Ruto’s allies by chasing them away from the public meetings.

Barasa claimed that he knew all the police officers and put them on notice that he will transfer them to Mandera after he becomes the next Interior CS.
