Mudavadi blames Ruto for problems facing ‘hustler nation

ANC  party leader Musalia Mudavadi has accused Deputy President William Ruto of being behind some of the problems the hustler nation is facing.

Mudavadi was speaking while attending a burial in Kakamega alongside other leaders from the Western region.

The ANC leader went on to acknowledge that Ruto enjoys privileges from the taxpayers’ money and should, therefore take responsibility for the government’s failures.

“Ruto and Uhuru formed the government together. Ruto lives in a government house, gets paid by the government. All his bills are paid for by the taxpayer. What governance is this?”  Mudavadi posed.

The ANC party leader insinuated that Ruto might be stealing from the public. He called onto the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) to reveal Ruto’s net worth. He further claimed that Ruto might be dishing out dirty money as he prepared himself for the 2022 presidential elections.

“It is time for KRA to tell us what these people declared, we want to know where the money is coming from. We need to see these declaration forms. You are robbing us with the right hand and giving us with the left,” Mudavadi stated.

Leave Ruto alone.

Boni Khalwale, a Ruto ally present also seized the moment and blasted Jubilee’s secretary-general Raphael Tuju. He further noted that the only way Ruto would leave office was if he resigns or dies.

“DP Ruto cannot be removed by parliamentary debate. He would only leave office if he resigns, and he won’t resign. He would only leave if he were dead, and he is alive.”

This comes even as DP Ruto allies continue to defend him against Tuju’s remarks. Tuju had suggested that Ruto should stop being Jubilee’s deputy leader. He further announced that Ruto should also not use Jubilee’s offices at Pangani for his political meetings.
