Peter Kenneth chosen to replace Uhuru as Mt. Kenya Kingpin

Former Gatanga Member of Parliament Peter Kenneth will be replacing President Uhuru Kenyatta as the Mt Kenya kingpin. This was after leaders in the region met up on Friday the 26th of June 2020 at Gatanga constituency.

Kenneth is now the region’s spokesperson following the meeting. He will reunite the community and further present a united front in supporting the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).

According to Education CAS Zack Kinuthia, Uhuru is aiming at uniting the whole country and not just Muranga. He further added that the president is interested in unifying the state in matters that matter.

“The President intends to unite not just Murang’ a and her people but the entire country so that all people can speak in one language on matters that matter to the nation.”

CAS Zack also referred to the Jubilee purge claiming the president is doing the replacements intentionally. According to the CAS, this will go down as Uhuru’s legacy for unifying the country.

“This continues to bring people together for the sake of the unity of our people as part of his legacy.”

The Mt. Kenya region divided after the handshake and the BBI. Tangatanga and Kieleweke clashed during a BBI meeting in Meru with the two parties expressing their interests. Murkomen, one of DP Ruto allies claimed that Uhuru and Raila should stop misleading Kenyans that the report will solve their issues.

“We were elected so that we can help solve issues of members of the public. Money was allocated to do so, therefore stop lying to Kenyans that the BBI will solve the economic problems. If we want to have the BBI, we must first accept the truth that the people of Mt Kenya and the people of Kenya voted for President Uhuru Kenyatta. Let us stop this political conmanship,” Murkomen said.
