ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula have ruled out working with ODM leader Raila Odinga in the upcoming elections.
Now working under the One Kenya Alliance, the two leaders said that they could not trust Raila with any future coalitions. This is despite the fact that they asked other like-minded parties and individuals to join their new alliance.
There are speculations that ODM leader Raila Odinga is trying to reunite with his NASA co-principals.
Speaking on the issue, Mudavadi said that the chances they would reunite with the ODM leader are very slim.
“If you create coalitions and then vandalize them, you can’t come out again and say you want to make another coalition. People will wonder how many of these will you create and vandalize too,” he said.
Moses Wetangula also said that he did not see the possibility of them reuniting with Raila. He noted that they once suffered in the ‘ruthless hands’ of ODM. Therefore, they no longer feel comfortable having ODM as a political partner.
“It is absurd to have an agreement where all partners endeavor to nurture for the betterment of the nation, just for a few individuals to have their cake and eat it,” he said.
