President Uhuru mourns William Ole Ntimama’s widow

President Uhuru Kenyatta has conveyed a message of condolence to the family, relatives and friends of Mama Dorcas Pedelai Ntimama, who died on Friday night, June 25, at a Nairobi hospital.

The late Dorcas was the wife of the late Cabinet Secretary William Ole Ntimama.

In his message of comfort and encouragement, the president described the late Mama Dorcas Ntimama as a gracious woman who worked diligently for the wellbeing of society.

Uhuru remarked that Ole Ntimama’s widow consistently built strong bonds of friendship, which ensured peace and harmony in her community.

“It is hurting that we’ve lost Mama Dorcas. As a country, we are thankful for her many years of service tothe country, especially the county of Narok, where, with her late husband, the Hon Ole Ntimama, they offered leadership and service to the community for many years.

“For those of us who interacted with the deceased, we shall miss her maternal character and a welcoming smile that made everybody around her comfortable,” the president stated.

President Kenyatta prayed to God to give the family fortitude and grace to bear the loss of their matriarch.

“Losing a parent is never easy, may you find consolation in the lovely moments you shared with your dear mother, and may she rest in eternal peace,” Uhuru condoled with the Ntimama family.

Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has also eulogised Mama Dorcas on Twitter, stating,” I have learned with pain the death of Mama Dorcas Ntimama, widow of late Ole Ntimama.
