Raila inspects Kasarani stadium ahead of Azimio la Umoja convention

“The Prime Minister came to check on what the committee has done and he is happy with the preparation,” he said.

“I want to tell Kenyans that we are ready for them. Tomorrow is a big day for this country and they should come in large numbers from all over the country.”

The Suna East MP added that they expect everyone they invited, including dignitaries to attend.

He noted that the event will be historic and the former PM will use it to launch something.

Other leaders who accompanied the opposition chief were Governors Wycliffe Oparanya (Kakamega) and James Ongwae (Kisii).

During the Azimio la Umoja Convention Raila is expected to officially announce his bid for the presidency in next year’s General Elections.
