Ruto courts Lamu as Raila expected to attend KICC meeting

Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate William Ruto is expected to take his campaigns to Lamu county as he intensifies his vote hunt ahead of August elections.

Ruto is expected to sell his Bottom Up economic model as he entices Kenyans to vote him in August.

He is expected to make many stop overs within the county. He will be accompanied by His DP designate Rigathi Gachagua.

On Thursday, Ruto spent the day at Education stakeholders symposium in Catholic University unveiling the Kenya Kwanza coalition ‘Education Charter’.

Ruto promised to implement charter as part of his manifesto should he become president after the upcoming August elections.

At the forum, Ruto and Kenya Kwanza leaders engaged members of the public and education stakeholders on how to have an education system that is accessible to all and affordable.

On the other hand, the Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga is expected to meet the 11 Azimio la Umoja Coalition party Council chaired by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The meeting which will be held at the Kenyatta International Convention center in Nairobi which will be attended by the party’s presidential candidate.

The agenda of the meeting will be to review, formulate and approve party policies and review the party’s campaign strategy and plan.

The meeting comes at a time when the Azimio team is pushing to build consensus among various candidates to have some step down for strong ones.

On Thursday, Raila took his campaigns to Marsabit county.
